Titoki is happy to host the first mens retreat here for a long time!
During this retreat you’ll join with biblical saints in travelling with the questions that come to us about purpose and personhood.
There will be times of input by facilitator Jim Corbett, followed by times of silence for personal reflection and contemplation. Spiritual direction sessions are offered as part of the weekend.
Jim’s approach to spiritual direction:
We explore together where God sits with you today by offering a space to reflect and examine God’s activity and your response. There may be the use of quietness, the psalms and art as entry points into your inner life – seeing how they mirror your experience.
About Jim Corbett
I was part of the Raetihi Baptist church for 32 years and undertook many roles in that time, including preaching, eldership, pastoral call team, leading home groups & a men’s group (for Christian and non-Christian). I trained for a year at Baptist College’s Church Growth School & have done many BCNZ courses by distance. I have recently trained as a Spiritual Director through Spiritual Growth Ministries. My passion is to support others in transformation into Christlikeness through the Word and the Spirit.
Faith background
Brought up Presbyterian, saved in the Salvation Army, discipled in the Apostolic church and now planted in the Baptist church in Taupo.
