at Titoki Healing Centre
Meet the Titoki family, who are looking forward to blessing you when you arrive.
Tammy Parsons: Guest Services
When you arrive at Titoki you will most likely be welcomed by Tammy, who coordinates all things Front of House – our bookings, our guests and, if you time it right, delicious lavender shortbread.
Tammy is a beautiful hostess with an eye for design. She can transform any room into a place of beauty and peace. She has managed a safari lodge in Africa, home schooled five children and coordinates the women’s ministry at her church. Truly a Proverbs 31 woman.
Ross and Pamela: Facilities and Gardens
Ross and Pamela are a vibrant couple who exude enthusiasm and peace. They have run their own Christian bookshop and art gallery, and a successful bed and breakfast. Their heart is for hospitality and to bless people with the word of God.
Ross and Pamela oversee our facilities – the buildings, the workshop, the orchard and our beautiful gardens. Pamela ensures that every guest room is a pleasure to stay in, from the décor to the cleanliness to the little touches that make you feel welcome.
Ross and Pamela live onsite, and guests are often found at their house chatting over a cup of tea and home baking.
Henk Hofman: Handyman
Henk is a man on a mission. Give him a problem and a hammer or saw, and he will fix it.
He and his wife, Henriet, bring a high standard of practicality, ensuring that our beautiful old buildings remain in top condition.
Henk and Henriet live off the grid in a house they have built entirely with their own hands. Their desire is to serve the Lord together on a Christian property, and we are blessed to have them.
Raharuhi Koia: J.P. B.Theol. B.Couns. Chaplain
A seasoned counsellor and ordained Presbyterian minister, Ra brings more than three decades of pastoral, cultural, and military experience to Titoki.
His ministry is shaped by a deep commitment to Christian healing and the restoration of people suffering trauma, grief and relationship issues.
Ra served as a military chaplain for 28 years in the NZDF both in New Zealand and in war zones.
Ra blesses our retreat guests with a traditional welcome, a listening ear, and great guitar playing. He is the proud rider of a 2019 Harley Davidson Road King.
Darryl Pye: Pastor
Passionate about helping people find healing and freedom in Christ, Darryl pastors our Wednesday chapel service where he encourages worship and prayer led by the Holy Spirit.
Darryl was the Senior Pastor at New Hope Acts church, the North Island leader of Kingdom Brotherhood and is trained in trauma healing.
Darryl has a heart for the broken and unwanted. He founded the Tumanako Hou Trust for youth faith-based ministries and currently works for Youth Justice, Oranga Tamariki.
When he is not ministering, you will find Darryl outdoors camping or riding his Harley.
